Dubai: The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security (ICP) has introduced a new initiative allowing eligible individuals residing outside the UAE to apply for a multiple-entry visa valid for 180 days.
This visa aims to facilitate the completion of procedures for obtaining the blue residency visa, a long-term, 10-year residency granted to those with exceptional contributions to environmental protection, sustainability, and clean and renewable energy.
The blue visa targets distinguished influencers, scientists, researchers, investors, entrepreneurs, and specialists in the sustainability sector.
Applicants must demonstrate significant achievements in environmental, climate change, and renewable energy efforts.
The UAE has committed to offering this service 24/7 through simplified online processes, ensuring easy access to applicants.
The application process is quick, taking around seven minutes, and the service is typically completed in one working day.
Required documents include a valid passport, a recent photo, and eligibility verification documents.
The initiative is part of the UAE’s broader sustainability efforts and complements existing residency programs like the golden and green visas.
